Saskatoon Shop Construction – Shop Floor
JDM Construction Corp. has been busy upgrading its facilities. A new, larger company shop has begun construction that will be able to accommodate the company’s wide variety of machine equipment, tools, trailers and vehicles.
First step of the process was getting the steel laid and forms installed:
Next came the pouring of the cement with a pump-truck:
Due to the size of the shop floor, the pour was split into quadrants. Once one quadrant was poured the cement was raked, gone over with a screed board and troweled.
Here is a short video clip showing the crew in action:
In total the pour took roughly 18 hours from start to finish and turned out great. Thanks to all those involved!
